Files live in five different places
Some documents are in SharePoint, some in personal OneDrive accounts, some still on a server, and a few in someone's inbox. Nobody is confident which copy is current, so people email attachments to be safe.
Microsoft 365
Microsoft 365 setup, migration, licensing and administration for Sydney businesses — configured so your team can actually find things, share safely and work from anywhere.
The Problem
Most businesses are not underusing Microsoft 365 because the product is lacking. They are underusing it because nobody has ever set it up deliberately.
Some documents are in SharePoint, some in personal OneDrive accounts, some still on a server, and a few in someone's inbox. Nobody is confident which copy is current, so people email attachments to be safe.
Sharing links were created years ago and never reviewed. Departed staff may still have access to something. If a client asked you to prove their data was restricted, you could not.
Seats stay assigned after people leave, and everyone gets the same expensive plan whether they need it or not. It renews annually without anyone checking whether the mix still fits.
Our Solution
We treat Microsoft 365 as an environment that needs running rather than a subscription that needs paying. That means a deliberate file structure, permissions that reflect how your business is actually organised, and identity protection applied consistently across every account.
Where you are migrating, we plan around your working week. Mail and files move in stages, staff keep working, and nobody arrives on Monday to find their documents have vanished into a folder structure they do not recognise.
We also review what you are licensed for. Different people need different things, and matching the plan to the role usually costs less than giving everyone the same one.

Whether we migrate you or inherit a tenant somebody else built.
Mailboxes, aliases, shared boxes and mail flow configured correctly, with the sender authentication records that stop your invoices landing in a client's junk folder.
A document structure in SharePoint and OneDrive that matches how your business is organised, so nobody keeps a private copy on their desktop just to be certain.
Channels and permissions built around real working groups rather than left to grow ad hoc, plus the meeting and calling setup your staff will actually use.
Multi-factor authentication and access policies applied across the tenant. Email accounts are the most commonly attacked thing a business owns, and they are protected accordingly.
An honest review of what each role needs. Sometimes that means recommending a cheaper plan for part of your team, which is a conversation most resellers avoid.
Microsoft keeps the service running; keeping your content recoverable is a separate job. We make sure mail and files can be restored if something is deleted or encrypted.
How We Deliver
Migrations are where this most often goes wrong for people, so the sequence is deliberate and nothing moves before it is planned.
We document what you actually have — devices, licences, access, and where the risks sit. Nothing is proposed before this is done.
We agree what changes, in what order, and when. Anything that will interrupt your team is scheduled around your working week.
Work is done in stages so your business keeps operating. You know what is happening on any given day before it happens.
Configurations, credentials and procedures are written down and kept current — so support does not depend on one person's memory, including ours.
Systems are watched continuously rather than checked when something is reported. Most issues are picked up before anyone raises them.
We review what is working at agreed intervals and adjust. Technology that suited you last year may not suit you at twice the headcount.
Business Outcomes
Mostly the absence of small daily frictions that everyone had stopped mentioning.
People stop emailing attachments back and forth because the current version is somewhere everybody can reach it.
Staff open the same files at home, on a client site or on a phone, without a VPN nobody understands or a laptop that has to come back to the office.
Offboarding becomes a defined process rather than a hope that someone remembered to change the password.
You know what you are paying for, who has it, and why. Renewals stop being a number that simply appears each year.
When sharing, syncing and permissions are configured properly, most of the questions your team used to raise about them stop being asked.
When a client or auditor asks who can access their information, there is a real answer with settings behind it.
Who It Is For
Running an on-premise Exchange server, a hosted mailbox from a domain provider, or a mix nobody has looked at since it was set up.
You are on Microsoft 365 already, but it was configured in a hurry and has been added to ever since. It works, but nobody would call it deliberate.
Staff now split their week between office, home and client sites, and the file and access arrangements were never designed for that.
Typical Engagements
Situations we are called into most often. One of these will probably sound familiar.
The Exchange box in the comms room is out of support and the renewal quote for replacing it has prompted a rethink.
Two businesses, two tenants, two ways of naming everything. The goal is one environment without losing anyone's history.
The annual invoice has grown and nobody can account for the increase. We reconcile assigned seats against actual people and roles.
Mapped drives that only work in the office, on hardware that is ageing. Moving the content is the easy half; designing where it should live is the real work.
A staff member clicked something, or an invoice was nearly paid to a changed account. The response is usually access policies and authentication, quickly.
You are licensed for Teams and SharePoint but the business still runs on email attachments and a shared drive. The technology is there; the setup and the habits are not.
Optional
None of these are required. They are here because clients regularly ask whether we can cover them.
Short, practical walkthroughs after a migration so people know where things now live and why. Adoption is usually the difference between a good setup and a used one.
A simple internal site for policies, forms and announcements, using what you are already licensed for rather than another subscription.
Consistent, centrally controlled signatures across the business, including on mobile — where most inconsistency comes from.
Independent retention of mail, files and Teams content beyond Microsoft's own deletion windows, for businesses with longer record-keeping obligations.

Industries
Document-heavy, deadline-driven teams that need email, files and collaboration to be genuinely reliable.
Matter files, client confidentiality and retention obligations supported by controlled access and tested backups.
Practice software, client data and the seasonal load of a compliance deadline planned for in advance.
Works With
These are the services clients most often run alongside this one, and why.
Layered protection across devices, email and identity, aligned to the ACSC Essential Eight.
Backups that are monitored and test-restored, because one nobody has tested is only an assumption.
We take ownership of your technology day to day, so problems get dealt with before they reach your team.
A real technician your staff can reach, with issues triaged by what is actually stopping people working.
FAQ
Mail is migrated in stages with the old and new systems running in parallel until the cutover, so nothing is dropped in between. Historic mail comes across with it. We schedule the switch for a quiet point in your week and confirm delivery is working before we consider it done.
Microsoft keeps the service available and protects against their own infrastructure failing. What they do not do is guarantee recovery of something your business deleted, or content encrypted by ransomware, beyond limited retention windows. That gap is why we treat 365 data protection as a separate consideration.
Yes, and most of our 365 work is exactly that. We audit what exists, document it, and correct what needs correcting rather than insisting on starting again. A rebuild is occasionally the right answer, but it is not the default one.
Neither is universally better. Microsoft tends to suit businesses with heavier document and compliance requirements; Google often suits collaborative, browser-first teams. We support both, so our recommendation is based on how you work rather than on what we would prefer to sell you.
We can arrange licensing or work alongside your existing arrangement. Either way we will tell you where you are over-licensed, including when that means recommending you spend less.
A free consultation covers your tenant — how files are organised, who has access to what, whether accounts are properly protected, and what you are paying for. You get the findings in writing either way.
